Prospective Students Information

Purpose Ascension Academy is a religiously oriented secondary school committed to educational excellence in the context of moral and ethical values. It promotes life long learning and fosters development of the whole person while supporting their spiritual, moral, and physical growth in a community of faith.
Attendance Regular school attendance is essential for the student to: •make the most of his/her education •benefit from teacher-led activities •build each day’s learning on the previous day’s lessons •grow as an individual

Cafeteria -School lunches are catered. -Lunch tickets are available weekly or monthly. -Menus for each week are available by Wednesday of the proceeding week. -There is a meat and vegetarian option each day. -This year, lunch is being catered by Debs Deli.	Chapel Services All students are required to attend chapel every Friday. Chapel services are considered a vital part of the weekly schedule. Services are conducted by a variety of ministers and youth ministers from all denominations. Ascension Academy show choir, strings, and/or guests provide music each week.
	Clubs and Organizations Student council, show choir, strings, drama and various athletic teams have been organized this year. Ascension Academy athletes compete against area private schools and smaller public schools.
